.Trouble Picking

ONE

Single Horse

In A Race?

E-Z-Dutch-It allows you to cover up to 80% of the field in any given race with a guarantee that if any of these horses win you will make a profit on your bet.

If you could pick ONE single WINNER in EVERY race you could become a millionaire overnight!.

However, if you're honest, you will have to admit that you're fortunate to be able to pick ONE single WINNER in 1 out of 4 races, or 25% of the time.

Perhaps you know winner will be one of your 4 final contenders - but which one?

If you're like most people, it's difficult to separate 2, 3, or 4 horses that you think have equal chances of winning. This dilemma leaves you with three alternatives;

  • Don't bet on the race.
  • Narrow your selection to just one horse, and hope the one you left out doesn't win.
  • Bet all your contenders.

E-Z-Dutch-It Wagering Strategy

The idea behind the E-Z-Dutch-It Wagering strategy is fairly simple. Throw out all the horses in a race that you are sure will NOT win, then bet all the remaining horses to win.

If you are correct, you win the bet! But the question remains, is it possible to bet 2, 3, 4 or more horses in a race and still make a profit? The answer is often, "Yes!" Especially if you use the E-Z-Dutch-It Wagering System.

Before I discuss what is so unique about the E-Z-Dutch-It Wagering System I would like to briefly discuss Dutching.

For those who are not familiar with dutching, here is a brief explanation. Dutching is a technique of betting on more than one horse to win the race. What makes dutching work is the concept of "proportional betting" where we place bigger bets on our selections with lower odds and smaller bets on those with higher odds. The idea is to have each of the bets pay the same amount regardless of which horse wins. Here is a simple example.

example12.png

Minimum Bet = $2  ; Bet Cost = $20 ; Odds 3/1, 4/1, 7/1, 12/1;
Profit =  $10 ; R.O.I. = 53%

In the above example, by betting up to 4 horses we are able to make an nice profit (53%) on our selections. Keep in mind, we are betting 4 horses!

However, this may not be true in every race. If we simply place a bet on each entry, depending on the odds of the winner, we may or may not make a profit. After all, there is no point in cashing a winning ticket if it doesn't pay for the rest of the bet! E-Z-Dutch-It will Dutch your bets for you automatically.

Adjusting the Dutch for better profits...

One of the downfalls of betting multiple horses is that the low-odds selections require a larger bet to produce the required profit. This increases the cost of the bet while lowering the profit margin (R.O.I.). If we remove the lowest priced pick from the bet we stand to greatly increase our profits.

One of the great features of E-Z-Dutch-It is its ability to pass bets. By clicking the PLAY button over a selection we can remove it from the Dutch while leaving it entered so it can be switched back in if desired.

Of course we dont want to remove a horse only to have it win and kill our Dutch completely... or do we? Well, it may turn out that we would be better off in the long run to pass the favorite now and then, taking an occasional loss in favor of much better payoffs when we do win. But how do we know when to PLAY and when to PASS.

Let's go back to our first example. When we dutched all 4 horses most of our money was on the 3:1 favorite. According to the PoP results for that entry, the PoP% for it is 39%. That means if the chances that pick will win are less than 39% we should PASS the entry. Since most favorites win at a rate of only 33%, from a purely statistical standpoint it would be better if we removed the pick from our Dutch. Suppose we pass the favorite. Take a look at what happens to our profit!

example2a.png

As you can see we almost TRIPLED our profit from the previous example! If we lose one out of three such Dutches we make $30 twice and lose $20 (Profit = $40) compared to making only $11 three times (Profit = $33). That's a 30% increase in profit, even with the loss incurred. And you thought this was just a Dutching program!

Setting up the Dutch for a Desired Profit...

We can also set E-Z-Dutch-It to earn a "Desired Profit". In the above examples we set the program to calculate the amount of money we wanted to bet or our "Bet Cost".

Let's try an example where we want to make a Desired Profit.

Here we see a Dutch with three picks. The odds are typical of the top 3 picks in a full field. This represents the type of Dutch you are most likely to make on a regular basis - betting on the top 3 picks of the racing form or other sourcce of picks. Let's say we want to make $100 profit on this race as we are convinced that one of the three top picks will surely win. So we click the "Profit" button and type "100" into the amount box, then enter the race info:

Minimum Bet = $2 ; Odds = 5/2, 9/2, 5/1;
Desired Profit = $100 ; R.O.I. = 100%

example3.png

As you can see, it will take a $174.00 wager to return a $100 profit (a payoff of $274).
As you can see, it's hard NOT to make money using E-Z-Dutch-It.

Let's try another typical example where we Dutch a heavy favorite and one other low-odds contender - possibly the second choice in the betting.

How about this. You think the 9/5 favorite (#8) is unbeatable but if it loses will probably be the #4 horse going off at 3/1. You can Dutch them and bet them both. Let's also say you want to make a profit of fifty bucks. Here's what it will look like:

Minimum Bet = $2 ; Odds 9/5, 3/1 ; Desired Profit = $50 ; Bet = $77 ; R.O.I. = 65%

example4a.png

Not bad for two horses. You bet $77 and make $50 or 65% R.O.I.

MINIMIZING LOSSES

What about losses? If you have an occasional loss with E-Z-Dutch-It you can add the loss to your next Desired Profit bet. For example, if you lose $25 in a race you could add the simply increase your next Desired Profit by $25.

If you have only an occasional loss you could divide each loss by 3 and add that amount to each of your next 3 bets. This way a $25 loss can be easily recouped over the next three bets slowly with no stress. As you can see with E-Z-Dutch-It you can:

Bet MORE horses.

Make MORE profit.

Lose a LOT LESS races.

The power of E-Z-Dutch-It is that it protects your bankroll. Your bankroll will not show large fluctuations (read - losses!) like it does betting only one, or even two horses per race.

Now you can say good-by to those dreaded losing streaks. E-Z-Dutch-It is a lot easier on your wallet and a lot less stressful on your nerves. Horse racing now becomes a FUN way to make money.
